Lakeshore Lodge 392 will be holding an 8 Hour Lodge Training School on Saturday January 21st 2012. The school starts at 8:30 a.m. Moose International has stated that all Lodge Officers must take the training beginning January 1 2012 up until 60 days after entering office in May of 2012. Once you have attended the school it is good for 3 Years. All Lodge Officers are asked to attend the school if they wish to be or become a Lodge Officer.If you wish to attend the school please e-mail or phone Ken Osbaldeston at 1 905-336-5642 or e-mail at osbaldestonk@sympatico.ca to say you will attending the Lodge Leadership School, also any Lodge wishing to hold a Leadership School is also asked to contact Kenny Osbaldeston.The cost of the school is $15.00 per Officer. A lunch will also be served at an additional cost.Please book early so that Officer's material for the couse can be ordered from Moose International

Well another great convention was held in St. Catharines and for those of you who did not attend you again missed a great conference.
Our next mid-year conference will be March 8th to the 11th 2012 at the Sarnia Holiday Inn and Suites. Room rates are only $90.00 per night and reservations can be made by calling toll-free at 1 519-212-2252 or ask for Lori Johnson at 1 519-336-8225. Please ask for the Ontario Moose Association block of rooms. There are still rooms available until the 21st of February 2012.
Our Official Visitors will be the following , for the W.O.T.M. Faye Monk-Erwin Past Grand Council Member from Hobbs New Mexico Chapter 1196 and for the Men Pilgrim Steven Greene General Governor for Moose International.Host Lodge and Chapter will be Sarnia .
Pre-Regiistration is available in the up-coming Focus New's letter.for both the men and women.Please pre-register as this makes it a lot earier on both the host chapter and Association.
Please remember that this conference will be held the week before Spring Break so please register and book you room well in advance as the rooms will only be available 3 weeks before the conference.

As you can see by the date we are now into a new year and most Lodges should have received their envelope containing their Moose of The Year, Rookie of The Year and Moose Legionnaire of The Year. Lodges are asked to have those Applications submitted to Moose International by the 20th of May 2011. Please help this Association by filling out the Application and mailing it to Moose International. Remember there is always someone who goes out of their way to help this Fraternity, so why not Honor Him by Nominating him for the above mentioned Awards. We need 100% co-operation from each and every Lodge. So please do your part and fill in that Application.
